Mark Murphy

Mark began dj'ing in 1996 and has become one of Sydney’s leading electro/tech DJs. He has played every major club and party in Sydney including Mardi Gras, Sleaze Ball, Inquisition,The Big Day Out, Field Day and We Love Sydney. He has supported everyone from Carl Cox to Carl Craig through to Felix Da Housecat and Peaches. His own night, Strudel, has been a pioneer of the electro sound and celebrated its second birthday in 2004. His new night Flipper intends to push the burgeoning acid house sounds filtering through from Europe. He opened Spank Records with Leanne & Chris in 2002 and has had two tracks released on Ear Pimp Music, a local Sydney label. He had a radio show on the now defunkt Rhythm FM called Techno Slut and has appeared on nearly every dance station in Sydney. He also writes a column for 3d under the guise of Blowfly. He is now exhausted just reading this.

Chris Lo

Chris is a devout Aquarius with a background in IT and web development. He was part of the team that put together Rush TV for the Seven Network. He has been djing for five years and plays progressive tribal through to progressive trance. He was one of the promoters behind Public Works and has also played at the legendary Crash at the Phoenix Bar. He has dabbled in music production and enjoys nothing better than a good computer manual, catching up with good friends and long walks on the beach. He opened Spank with Mark and Leanne in 2002 and is the creator of the Spank website. All hail the creator!
